Criminal Defense 
Whether charged with a misdemeanor or a felony, whether charged in state or federal court, we handle all manner of cases in which the government is alleging wrongful conduct by our clients.  Our practice covers everything from DUIs to complex white collar cases, including fraud and RICO allegations.  As part of any criminal matter, we also handle asset forfeiture litigation.

Civil Litigation
Business Litigation: From simple breaches of contract to more complex commercial/contractual disputes, we handle a wide-range of business litigation matters.
Tort Litigation:  Business Torts, Serious Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, Premises Liability, False Imprisonment/False Arrest/Malicious Prosecution, Anti-SLAPP, Nursing Home Liability, Qui Tam (whistleblower) matters; Violation of Civil Rights (Section 1983 and related claims).
Asset Forfeiture:  Whether a part of criminal charges or brought entirely separate from criminal allegations, we defend our clients’ interests against seizure and forfeiture by the state and federal governments.

Appellate Practice
In addition to our extensive trial experience, we also understand that a client, at times, may have to seek justice in the appellate courts.  We have successfully handled numerous appeals in the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.  One of our partners has worked for the Georgia Supreme Court, and all of our partners have litigated appeals in the appellate courts of Georgia.  We understand the appellate procedures and are familiar with the appellate courts.
